Salsa Latina UK was first set up in 1997 by its founder Andy

decided to go it alone setting up Salsa Latina UK based in horley where he
taught salsa as a partner dance. After several month of running these popular
classes he was asked to join the UK's biggest promoter at the time Salsa UK ran
by Paul Young to be part of their teaching team. After 6 months he was teaching
6 evenings a week in Bromley, Croydon, Brixton and at major events across the

amazing 4 day event of workshop, shows and live bands and in 2001 Andy was also
asked to teach at the UK's first ever Salsa congress teaching in front of 300
