WHAT IS SALSA JAZZ

Salsa Jazz or also know as Salsa Shines or Salsa solo is the non partner version of Salsa dancing where the dancer expresses the music by intricate jazz footwork. Salsa shines are also used especially in LA style and New York style of salsa when couples break away from each other to show to their partner what they can do on the dance floor. Salsa jazz is non partner based form of dancing so no need for a partner in our classes

SALSA LATINA UK'S BRAND NEW SALSA JAZZ "SHINE" CLASSES

With Salsa Latina UK's Salsa jazz "shines" and styling classes we focus on our students dancing technique working on rhythm, body isolation and basic dance movement which over time and alot practice will make our students better dancers. Through our level 1 sessions we teach a syllabus of basic steps which are put together to form a simple salsa jazz routine at the end of class which works towards moving up to our faster paced level 2 class.

Our dance ethos is that "dancing is like building a house" in that its important to build a good foundation on spending time in the level 1 class to establish a good quality of basics which provide a good foundation when moving up to the next level.

ALL OF OUR SALSA JAZZ DANCE CLASSES

* Total beginners welcome to our classes

* Ages 14 to adults

* Two levels of sessions taught to a syllabus (We welcome beginners through to intermediate dancers)

* New choreography every week

* Payment on a class by class basis

* You can start at anytime through the year since something new is taught every week

* Classes run 50 weeks of the year * Ages 15 to adults
